Che:Chapter 127

"Let me say, with the risk of appearing ridiculous that the true revolutionary is guided by strong feelings above all, always be capable of feeling any injustice committed to anyone anywhere in the world"
-Che Guevara

Che:Chapter 127 cite unapologetic, revolutionary political activism as their central source of inspiration and purpose. Completely unconcerned with the fact that they're totally out of phase with the current stampede of bands falling all over themselves to put on matching suits and convince the public that they’re about community and not celebrity, the band continues to chart it’s own territory. One of the newest members of the G7 Welcoming Committee, Che:Chapter 127's new record boasts local guests Kinnie Starr, Jen from Submission Hold, Kim from Skinjobs and art by Red Wire editor Tania Willard. Word to that.

Bronwen, Tanya & Sara

Bronwen Tigar, Tanya Davis and Sara Kendall are a threesome formed out of sweet friendship and in-synch sight lines about the world surrounding-sounding out tight rhymes, layers of beatbox and song… these players carry movement for awareness musically along.

Speaking on the unspoken, and letting the conventions of poetry and political conversation be broken they are sharing education, sillyness and community via music and solidarity - a part hip hop, part folk, part gospel, fully heart- participation kind of full on fun.
